Instructors
Keith Butler is a senior principal scientist for user-centered design at Boeing Information and Support Services. Before joining Boeing, he was a member of the technical staff at Bell Labs. Rob Jacob is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Tufts University. He is a member of the editorial board of ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction and ACM Interactions magazine and former Vice Chair of SIGCHI. Before joining Tufts, he was in the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at the Naval Research Laboratory. Allison Druin is an Assistant Professor in the University of Maryland Institute of for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS) and the Department of Human Development in the College of Education. She is a member of the Human-Computer Interaction Lab (HCIL) where her research focuses on the impact technology can have on children and the impact children can have on the design of new technology.
